Volunteering at Acts
This Church has opportunities to serve.

We are all called to service as men, women, and children, made in the image and likeness of God!
Here at Acts Church we have so many opportunities for you:
Guest Services – Guest Services’ priority is to make people feel welcome at Acts Church. We want to create an atmosphere that puts people at ease the moment they walk in the building. Guest Services includes the Greeting Team and the Information Desk Team.
Coffee & Food/Event Team – This team is responsible for having fresh coffee and hot water for tea available during and between services. It also coordinates food/snacks during various special Sunday events and promotions.
Acts Kids – Acts Kids is Acts Church’s ministry for Infants through 5th Grade. Volunteers will help children have a great time while learning about Jesus. There are many opportunities to serve in this ministry. You can be a lead teacher, part of a curriculum team, a classroom helper, or hold precious babies. Acts Kids is a great opportunity to impact the life of a child and show them how much they are loved by Jesus. If you have a passion for teaching and caring for children, we would love to have you on the Acts Kids Team. (note: working with kids is dependent on a background check)
Student Ministries – On Wednesday evenings the Student Ministries Team provides a fun and energetic place for students Grade 6 – 12 to make friends and learn about God. The students come from many backgrounds, families, and walks of life. They are all unique, inquisitive and special. We are passionate about reaching all of them and making a real difference in their lives with the gospel, the teachings of the Scripture and the love of Christ shown through us! (note: working with students is dependent on a background check)
Life Groups – Life Groups meet during the week throughout our community. These long term small groups of people provide a place for people to connect with others and grow spiritually. Opportunities to serve include being a Life Group Host by volunteering to create a warm and caring atmosphere in your home or meeting space. You can also train to be a Life Group Leader, if you have a passion to connect with people and help them grow in God’s word.
Worship – The Worship Team helps engage people in a relationship with God during the weekly worship services and at other events. We do this by using our various gifts and abilities in leading singing and playing instruments, all to the glory, honor, and praise of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Opportunities to serve require an audition.
Media and Tech – Behind the scenes! We need people on Sunday mornings and at other services to run the sound board, lights, cameras, and video production systems. We also need people during the week to help with video production, social media, and our website and apps.
Acts of Kindness – Join Acts Church in reaching out and serving our community through Acts of Kindness, the outreach ministry of Acts Church. We strive to make a difference by helping people in need and sharing the love of Christ.
